Does anyone know what ISP provides routers with this style of ESSID please ?

VM501352-2G (not actual ESSID but same format).

I suspect it is Virgin Media because of the VM but I am just guessing.

Thanks.

It's a Virgin Media Super Hub 2.

Oh well done, thank you very much :)

Are Virgin routers (Super Hub 2) WPA passwords still lower alpha length 8 ?

I don't know much about Virgin Media but I found this page:

http://help.virginmedia.com/system/...E=en&COUNTY=us&VM_CUSTOMER_TYPE=Cable

In 'Pick your Virgin Media Router' if you click on 'Not Sure?', it'll apper the list of all the models. There's even the Super Hub 2 (wich is a Netgear VMDG485) with an example of a label.

The key seems to be 8 characters lower case as the previos model (don't think both models have numbers but I could be wrong). I know it's just an example but I couldn't find anything better :(.

The login credentials are the same:
username: admin
password: changeme

Also the '2G' part in the ESSID stands for 2.4 GHz while '5G' obviously stands for 5 GHz.

Here's the label image in case of broken link:
