Hi!

Does anyone know what a password would look like for something like Verizon_8HFEJI ?
I've seen five-character Verizon networks, but this is new, six-character that popped up recently.

I did a quick scan of ebay. Looks like the CR1000A, CR1900A and XCI55AX all use that type of password. Moreover, the number seems to be only placed after the first or second word. And 0 and 1 aren't used. Other numbers might not be used too, so if you @Sardukarrr want to help @BlueCuracao you might want to start collection password from ebay and facebook marketplace (including the sold section) to make sure all the words used are already in the dictionary

It ends up with too many combinations I think....

hashcat -m 22000 cap.22000 -a 1 word-num.txt word.txt -j "$-"

Yeah only a matter of time before ISPs realize we can bruteforce their passwords, so they are extending the parameter space. We really really need a long list of collected passwords in order to reduce the parameter space. I haven't seen any 2's or 8's used as number, and only ever a single 5letter word, though multiple 3 letter words in the combination though. So more data is needed! @Sardukarrr since you have the most to gain by solving this, get started and collect all the passwords you can find!

I'm surprised it's even feasible (with your speculations). All it would take is one example of the third word with a number on the end and it would be a total bust.

Or a password with 2 numbers.... So far either after the 1st or 2nd word. Never both! So far it's just your word list times 64. A 4090 can handle it.

Any news on numbers used? Did you find a 2 or an 8 anywhere?
Ever find a number after the 3rd word?
Is it possible to have more than one 4 letter word? (or more than two 4 letter words)
Is it possible to have three 3 letter words?

All the ones I’ve found only had numbers on the first or second word. At first, I thought the number always went on the shorter word of the two, but I found a case that proved otherwise. Never a number after the third word.
I’ve seen a case with all 3 words being 3 letters, and cases where there are 2 4 letter words.

Six-character also Verizon Internet Gateway 5G LTE SKU: ASK-NCQ1338. Same password scheme as CR1000A, CR1900A and XCI55AX as stated.
