I got the WPA handshake of Technicolor tc7200 modem. The password I am trying to crack is the length of 8 [A-Z] alpha (upper-case) characters. I am going to try cracking it with Hashcat, but I have some questions:
I have very low storage space for 26^8 combinations wordlist, Crunch (Kali Linux tool) said it would take 1TB that I don't have. Does Hashcat make its own wordlist during the cracking process and deleting passwords that it tried on the way?
I have i5-3220M CPU and Intel HD Graphics 4000, how long it would take to crack it in the worst scenario?
Do you recommend any other way to crack it or have any suggestions?
It took gpuhash .me about 2 minutes.

Yes Hashcat would work as it would generate the wordlist on the fly thus not needing to store it.

On your GPU I would expect it to only take about 2 years, Maybe a little quicker. I ran a test on a 5500 GPU and that will do it in just 330 days.

May I suggest you just pay GPUHASH.me for the work they have done??

I don't have BTCs right now. I don't know how to get it. I don't currently have a balance on my PayPal and my credit card expired. So it will take a while to pay them, but I thought I can do it myself.

If you didn't have the funds to pay GPUHASH.me you shouldn't really use their services. It's a 'pay if they find it' site, not a 'get us to run it for fun' site :frown:

I am sorry, It was the first time I have used the service, I didn't even know if the site was legit. I am even the first time on this forum, as I can see here we also have options to pay for the password cracking, but it seems like my post is removed and I don't know why. Can you help me with that?

Yes, If you read the WPA Cracking guidelines (link in my signature) 👇 You will see that we are unable to accept anything that has been cracked by GPUHASH.me - Basic search is BTC 0.001 which is about $9.50

Sorry we can't help you any further with this.

$9.50 is actually pretty reasonable for getting an idea the degree of difficulty the capture might have. I thought it would be much more. And a bonus if found. I would be interested in the payment percentage on the GPUHash.me site for found captures. I have a few captures I would like to submit, problem is I have never dealt in cyber-type payments, which I believe is the only type of payment they accept. "mrguts" be aware this is probably the best site for getting free help in cracking your capture, but there are other sites that do not have that GPUHash.me guideline.

I have already read rules for the WPA Cracking section, but my post was posted in Paid Password Recovery section and there were no rules that included that. I am sorry that I don't have enough money on paypal to buy BTCs for the first time in my life to pay for the service I thought wasn't legit at first. And now that I am willing to pay 6$ ( like some people here) you are removing my post. I was trying to do it myself but you don't seem to help me much.

There's no need anymore. Staff members and the others helped me find the password, and I am deeply thankful to them.
If you can physically access the router, try pressing the wps button from the router
