@HashRecovery

Thanks for the new compiled version.

New request

Does the Convert cap to hcwpax tool save the new .hc22000 somewhere?
If not, then it would be helpful if the file is saved directly in the hashes folder.

Alternatively, there is a copy button in the convert tool, but there is no clipboard function in the hashes selection.
So the former with the saving in the folder hashes is useful in any case.

Furthermore, when a new task is created, it is directly in Finished instead of Queued.
This is not supposed to happen, is it?

the cap converter tool does not save any file
will see what solution(s) is okay for loading the output (save to hashes directory or load from clipboard)

Every newly created task will initially be either Idle or Queued
Idle if the priority is -1 (to disable auto-start)
Queued if the priority 0 or greater (will start automatically once it's turn come)

hashcat.launcher.png

Is this list saved somewhere so I can view it? I had to find all the hashes, they were generated from the dictionary that I was comparing.

It’s bad that you can’t see the approximate remaining time until the end.
Percentages are shown for each dictionary, but I would like to see either the number of dictionaries already checked or the total percentage of hash selection.

"It’s bad that you can’t see the approximate remaining time until the end."
You get the remaining time in the ETA field, but I think it's only for the ongoing process and not the whole process. (I think that's what you meant by: "Percentages are shown for each dictionary")

"I would like to see either the number of dictionaries already checked"
This is implemented already and you can get those info be hovering over the info circle in the"Progress" field. HOWEVER this requires the latest hashcat version (beta: https://hashcat.net/beta/) BUT hashcat.launcher is not tested well with the beta version of hashcat.. so it's likely better to stick with v6.2.5..

Once a new hashcat version is released a new version of hashcat.launcher will be released for that version

It would be better if you make a percentage of the total number of passwords, because dictionaries can be of different sizes.

Why show the progress of each dictionary? If it would be more useful to see the overall progress.

This is not related to hashcat.launcher. This is how hashcat itself works.

And for the "bug".. I didn't understand what's wrong

Okay, but can you make it so that the dictionary loading process is shown before starting work?
If there is one, but large, in order to understand how much time is approximately left before the start and whether the shell has hung, this function is in hashcat.

No file extension

Please open two issues in GIthub, one for the feature request and the other for the bug report, it's easier to track things that way
